Esta Fender Stratocaster de 1974 es un magnífico ejemplo de las Stratocaster fabricadas en Fullerton, California, durante la etapa CBS de la marca. Un instrumento vintage auténtico que conserva el carácter, el sonido y la estética propios de las Fender de los años 70.

El acabado Olympic White ha envejecido de forma natural con el paso del tiempo, adquiriendo el característico tono crema que solo aparece en guitarras vintage reales. El cuerpo presenta checking del lacado y desgaste natural fruto de décadas de uso, lo que le aporta una estética muy atractiva y auténtica.

El mástil de arce con diapasón de arce incorpora la unión de tres tornillos con sistema Micro-Tilt, una de las características distintivas de las Stratocaster de esta época. La guitarra conserva además los clavijeros Fender “F” originales, habituales en las Stratocaster de mediados de los años 70.

En algún momento de su vida la pastilla del puente fue sustituida por una DiMarzio, una modificación muy habitual durante los años 70 para obtener mayor salida y un sonido más potente. El resto del instrumento mantiene su estética clásica de Stratocaster.

En la parte trasera del cuerpo se pueden apreciar algunos pequeños agujeros fruto de modificaciones antiguas de hardware, algo relativamente común en instrumentos vintage que han sido utilizados durante décadas.

Se trata de una guitarra muy resonante y con mucho carácter, ideal tanto para coleccionistas como para músicos que buscan una Stratocaster vintage auténtica con historia.

This 1974 Fender Stratocaster is a great example of the instruments produced in Fullerton, California, during the CBS era. A genuine vintage guitar that retains the character, tone and aesthetics that define Fender Stratocasters from the 1970s.

The Olympic White finish has aged beautifully over the years, developing the warm cream tone that only naturally appears on true vintage instruments. The body shows natural checking and wear consistent with over five decades of use, giving the guitar a very authentic vintage look.

The maple neck with maple fingerboard features the characteristic three-bolt neck joint with Micro-Tilt adjustment, one of the defining features of Stratocasters from this period. The guitar still retains its original F-stamped Fender tuners, commonly found on mid-70s Stratocasters.

At some point in its life the bridge pickup was replaced with a DiMarzio, a very common modification in the 1970s used to achieve higher output and a more powerful tone. The instrument otherwise maintains the classic Stratocaster appearance.

On the back of the body there are a few additional small holes from previous hardware modifications, something not unusual on vintage guitars that have been actively played over the years.

This is a very resonant guitar with plenty of character, perfect for players looking for a genuine vintage Stratocaster as well as collectors.
